3. January 2025, expedition expert Lars Ebbesen from Ousland Explorers and polar explorer Liv Arnesen were interviewed by NRK regarding the status of the Norwegian polar explorers in Antarctica.

Hege Victoria Dypdalsbakk may set a world record as the fastest woman to the South Pole. But nothing is certain and she is now in a very demanding area where she must slow down, says Liv Arnesen.

Arne-Kristian Teigland fainted in the snow but woke up, called for help and is now undergoing a medical check-up, says Lars Ebbesen.

Karen Kyllesø is moving towards the South Pole and will be the youngest ever to reach the pole if she succeeds.
