Frank Løke recently gave an inspiring lecture to a full house at Brynje in Larvik.
- I didn't think I would get tears in my eyes, but I did. And I wasn't the only one, says Christin Buland, new employee at Brynje Larvik.
Frank Løke (43) was born in Tønsberg and is a former handball player with 186 international matches and 646 goals. In 2012 he was selected for the World Team and All Star Team 2008. He participated in the TV 2 reality series "Farmen kjendis" in 2017. In 2018 he participated in "Skal vi danse" and in 2023 he won, together with Rikke Isaksen, 71° nord - Team on TVNorge. In 2021 and 2024, Løke climbed Mount Everest and in 2022 he was on K2. He has two children, Ada (18) and Edel (10).
- My greatest strength can also be my weakness. I will never turn back. I set my own limits. Nobody tells me what I can and cannot do, says Løke.
In this lecture, you will hear Frank's story about the ascent of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest (8849 m). He also talks about priorities and preparations in connection with the ascent of K2 (8611 m), the world's most dangerous mountain. Welcome to an inspiring lecture!
