Extreme competitions
The competitions Frode often goes with a rucksack and full gear over several hundred kilometers in some of the world's most extreme conditions. Frode has run through desert areas in over 60 plus degrees, polar regions in minus 50 and higher than 6,000 meters above sea level.
The toil that Frode regularly puts his body through stands in stark contrast to the life he lived in 2012. He was then 46 years old, weighed 97 kilos and rarely exercised. As an executive in a listed company, it was mostly travel, fine dining and "a little more". Then Frode changed his lifestyle completely and since then he has trained systematically.
Frode is educated in risk management, management and coaching. He is also a Pose Method® Certified Technique Specialist by Olympic coach Dr. Nicholas S. Romanov. He also has extensive experience as a coach in several sports and works daily at the World Running Academy in Italy, which offers coaching and training for individuals and groups.
